Terri Bedore

A recent transplant to San Antonio, Texas, Terri L. Bedore earned her B.A. in Archeology & Museum Studies from Alma College, a certificate in Museum Studies from Michigan State University, and her M.S. in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University. She comes to us from prior federal service with the National Archives & Records Administration branch at Saint Louis, MO where she was part of the team dedicated to digitizing USAF civilian personnel records.

Miss Bedore is a member of the American Association of Museums and is an active member of its Curator's Committee.

From 2008-2010, she served on a two-person curatorial team and, as the sole museum technician, directly cared for four museum collections within the National Park Service's museum management system, totaling over 250,000 artifacts and hundreds of linear feet of archival materials.

In 2007, Miss Bedore was part of an architectural conservation team hired to conserve and restore an 1843 church in New Diggings, WI. She has also worked with the National Museum of Natural History's Anthropology & Archeology collections in Washington, DC as well as numerous museum collections in her native state of Michigan.

Lord, you have called us to be guardians of a nation founded on your principles. Whatever our tasks as Security Forces men and women, we do them to serve you and our nation.

We are proud to accept the responsibility of this high calling.

We dedicate ourselves to our vocation, and ask for guidance and courage in aiding our people to live with dignity, in safety and peace.

We know that true security comes from your presence, so we pray with the psalmist:

You bless those who obey you, Lord;

Your love protects them like a shield.

Use us, O Lord, as shields for your people, reflecting your security and peace.

  Amen
